Randy wanted to remind everyone about Fall Clean-Up on October 20th. Everything needs to be bagged, boxed or bundled and no car parts, chemicals, appliance with Freon, construction material and yard waste.

Randy also wanted to remind everyone that Trick or Treat Night for the Village is October 31st from 5 pm to 8 pm and only houses with their porchlight on.

Reports of Committees:

Police: Teresa stated that she had nothing to report this month.

Building and Park: Debi stated that she had nothing to report this month. Gary stated that he wants to have a Committee meeting before the next month’s Board Meeting. Gary stated that Joe Stephenson has approached him about possibly putting in sewer hook-ups for campers at the campground (if the Fair Board could get grants to pay for the supplies; then the Fair Board would like for the Village to put the hook-ups in).

Sidewalks and Lights: Dave stated that he had nothing to report this month. Gary stated that the Village is paying for the Downtown Speaker System electricity year round and wondered about shutting it off when the system is not in use. Street and Alley: Jay stated that the Chip-n-Seal has been done for this year. Gary stated that there has been an issue with grass being thrown into the streets that have curbs and storm drain grates, which cause problems with the storm sewers and also with the algae at the Lake due to run-off. He stated that Chad has talked with the individuals about the ordinances against throwing the grass into the streets with curbs. Gary stated that he wanted to let the Board know about the issue.

Water and Sewer: Ken stated that he had nothing to report this month.
