The Mattoon City Council met April 19 to approve the consent agenda consisting of minutes of the regular meeting on April 5, as well as bills and payroll for the first half of April 2016.
Additionally, under new business, Commissioner Preston Owen, seconded by Commissioner Rick Hall, moved to approve Special Ordinance No. 2016-1622. Doing so adopts the budget for the fiscal year that began on May 1 and ends on April 30, 2017.
