The Tuscola Public Library board of directors will meet at 6 tonight at the library, 112 E. Sale St.  

A brief consent agenda will cover approval of previous meeting minutes, expenditures and financial reports from the past two to four weeks, followed by the librarian’s report and an overview of circulation statistics for February, plus year-to-date figures.

Action items include filling the position of vice president; the fiscal year 2016 budget; and a discussion of nonresident participation, particularly the option of imposing a nonresident fee for borrowers living outside the Tuscola district.

The board also will discuss raises for the staff and the director, and will recess into executive session for discussion of personnel matters before adjournment.

Library operations are managed by Director Devin Black and Assistant Librarian Lori Anderson, with oversight by the library's board of directors.
