Two former officials appointed by Tiffany Henyard, the former mayor of Dolton, Illinois, are scheduled to appear in federal court later this month for change-of-plea hearings related to bankruptcy fraud charges.

Keith Freeman, who served as village manager under Henyard, is set for a hearing on November 19, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. He faces charges of bankruptcy fraud for allegedly misrepresenting his income.

Lewis Lacey, who was acting police chief during Henyard’s tenure, has a hearing scheduled for November 21, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. Lacey is accused of concealing bank accounts and settlements from other cases as part of his bankruptcy proceedings.

Tiffany Henyard remains under federal investigation regarding actions taken while she served her single term as Mayor and during her partial term as the appointed Thornton Township Supervisor.
