Moulton Middle School announces first quarter honor roll for 2025-2026

Moulton Middle School has released its Honor Roll and High Honor Roll lists for the first quarter of the 2025-2026 school year. The lists recognize students in grades four through eight for their academic achievements.

For eighth grade, students named to the High Honor Roll include Brogan Ade-Embry, Hazel Atkins, Sophia Blain, Owen Bonny, Kara Chambers, Callie Clark, Alexis Cox, Evelyn Daniel, Piper Duckett, Maxwell Eversole, Jackson Gordon, George Haws, Reese Houk, Jonah Jokisch, Avneet Kaur, Cooper Kull, Theodore Lockart, August Mehl, Benjamin Nohren, Vincent Pearcy, Kolby Peters, Gabriel Pritchard, Cali Randolph, Khloe Reedy, Ollie Reid, Jaxon Roll, Clayton Stanfa, Gracelyn Stephens, Hunter Taylor, Parker Tull, Addisyn Wallis and Roz Young. The eighth grade Honor Roll includes Mason Brown and others.

Seventh grade High Honors were awarded to Kwenley Agney and a group of classmates. Honors went to Finn Billingsley and several other students.

In sixth grade Landry Agney led the list of High Honors recipients along with others. The Honors list includes Oriana Beck and additional students.

Fifth graders on the High Honors list include Kora Agney and peers. The Honors category features Aubree Ballinger among others.

Fourth grade High Honors recipients are Hadley Beavers and a number of classmates. Elijah Allscheid leads those recognized for Honors in fourth grade.

Moulton Middle School is part of Shelbyville Community Unit School District 4. This district serves Shelby County and includes Main Street Elementary School as well as Moulton Elementary School and Shelbyville High School (source). According to data from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE), there are 88 teachers in the district with an average salary of $53,412; most are women (79.1 percent), while men make up 20.9 percent (source). No teachers in the district have more than ten absences per year (source).

The student population is predominantly White at 95.6 percent; Black students represent 0.6 percent; Hispanic students make up 1.8 percent; Asian students account for 0.7 percent (source). In fiscal year 2020 the district spent $15,568 per student for a total expenditure of $18.5 million (source).
