Adam Niemerg, a Republican elected to the Illinois State House in 2023 to represent the state's 102nd House District, has recently posted several comments on X (formerly Twitter) addressing state government policies and actions.

On October 3, 2025, Niemerg expressed criticism of diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in public sector hiring. He wrote: "I’ve been around Springfield long enough to know that’s exactly what’s happening. DEI via race based hiring for public sector works is a TOP priority for the left. Why not just hire who’s qualified? I feel much safer being on bridges and in buildings built by SKILLED labor."

The following day, October 4, 2025, Niemerg questioned an incident involving South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem's access to a government building in Illinois. He stated: "I will be asking why a GOVERNMENT building in the state of ILLINOIS denied @Sec_Noem from access! Unacceptable @GovPritzker"

On October 5, 2025, Niemerg commented on safety issues in Chicago and called for action against Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker. His post read: "Safety and security must be restored to Chicago! ⁦@GovPritzker⁩ has FAILED and must be removed from office. #impeachjb"

Niemerg succeeded Darren Bailey as representative of the state's 102nd House District after his election in 2023.
