Adam Niemerg, a Republican member of the Illinois State House representing the 102nd District since 2023, posted several statements on his social media account on September 11, 2025.
In his first post of the day, Niemerg reflected on the anniversary of the September 11 attacks. He wrote, "24 years have passed, but we will never forget the men and women who lost their lives on September 11th. Today—and every day—we pray for their families, their loved ones, and for our nation to always honor their sacrifice. Never Forget." (September 11, 2025)
Later that morning, Niemerg criticized Illinois Governor JB Pritzker for remarks made in April. In his statement, Niemerg said, "Let’s be crystal clear: In April, JB Pritzker didn’t “slip up.” He revealed exactly who he is when he said, “These Republicans cannot know a moment of peace.” That’s not leadership—it’s hatred. That’s a sitting governor openly declaring that millions of Illinoisans deserve to be" (September 11, 2025).
In another post published in the afternoon of September 11th, Niemerg expressed approval regarding an unspecified development by stating simply: "It’s about time!" (September 11, 2025).
Niemerg was elected to serve Illinois' 102nd House District in 2023 after succeeding Darren Bailey as state representative.
