Pritzker appeared on Stephen Colbert’s show and joked that a kindergarten class had drawn the Illinois map, referring to it as his independent commission. Miller, a Republican, was elected to the Illinois State House in 2023 to represent the state's 101st House District, replacing previous state representative Reggie Phillips.
