Shelbyville Community Unit School District 4 Board of Education met June 26.

Regular Meeting

The Board of Education of Shelbyville Community Unit School District No. 4 met in a 7:00 P.M. Regular Meeting in the Shelbyville High School Cafeteria. Members present: Chad Brachbill, Jake Hankins, Gary Hayden, Vincent Warren, Abbie Ballard, and Ellen Trainor. Members absent: Scott West

Mr. Shane Schuricht presented a "Thank You" card from the STARS Preschool and Baby Steps Staff.

Approval of Minutes from the May 15th, 2025 and May 27th, 2025 Open and Closed Meetings and approval of May 2025 Financial Reports: Revenue Summary, Treasurer's (April/May), Board Bills, Expense Summary, Revolving Funds, Activity and Fund Summary.

Motion to approve the current prevailing wage rates for Shelby County as presented. Yea - Ballard, Warren, Hayden, Hankins, Brachbill, and Trainor. Motion passed.

Motion to approve the renewal premiums from PSIC for Property/Casualty/Liability coverage in the amount of $143,722 and Treasurer's Bond coverage in the amount of $5,137 for the 2025-2026 school year. Yea - Hankins, Hayden, Ballard, Warren, Brachbill, and Trainor. Motion passed.

Motion to approve the bid from Previsor/MEM to provide Workers Compensation coverage for the 2025-2026 school year in the amount of $45,370. Yea - Warren, Hankins, Hayden, Ballard, Brachbill, and Trainor. Motion passed.

Motion to approve the quote from Heart Technologies for the installation of door sensors in the amount of $27,295.57. Yea - Ballard, Hankins, Hayden, Warren, Brachbill, and Trainor. Motion passed.
