On Sunday, Feb. 9, former Effingham High School standout Raegan Boone’s college team won in an NCAA Division I softball game

On Sunday, Feb. 9, former Effingham High School standout Raegan Boone’s current college team, the Western Illinois Leathernecks, won 5-4 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Butler Bulldogs.

The game took place at The Dome at Parkway Bank Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Leathernecks’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 9 at 2:40 p.m. at The Dome at Parkway Bank Sports Complex against DePaul Blue Demons.
