Traffic on Henrietta Street between Fayette Avenue and Jefferson Avenue in Effingham will shift to the newly constructed southbound lanes starting Wednesday, May 14, according to the Illinois Department of Transportation. This change will restrict access from Henrietta Street to Jefferson Avenue.

The new traffic pattern will provide two lanes for southbound traffic and one lane for northbound traffic. Advance signing will be posted along Henrietta Street and Jefferson Avenue. Access to Jefferson Avenue from Henrietta Street is expected to resume in mid-June.
