Village of Montgomery Planning and Zoning Commission met May 1.

a. PZC 2025-005 Spartan Athletic Park (1630 Jericho Rd and the southwest corner of Jericho Rd and Edgelawn Dr)

i. Public Hearing and Consideration of Annexation of the property

ii. Public Hearing and Consideration for an amendment to a Special Use – Planned Unit Development

The public hearings for PZC 2025-005 will be opened and immediately continued to a Special Meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission on May 21, 2025 with no discussion or action to be taken at this meeting due to notification issues.

b. PZC 2025-006 Cenergy Power (east end of Oakland St)

i. Public Hearing and Consideration of Annexation of the property and Rezoning upon annexation to A Agriculture District

ii. Public Hearing and Consideration of a Special Use for a Utility-Scale Solar Energy System

iii. Public Hearing and Consideration of multiple variations from the Unified Development Ordinance, including:

1. Section 8.21|Table 8.21.1 (M-1 District Requirements – Lot Area)

2. Section 8.21|Table 8.21.1 (M-1 District Requirements - Setbacks)

The public hearings for PZC 2025-006 will be opened and immediately continued to a Special Meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission on May 21, 2025 with no discussion or action to be taken at this meeting due to notification issues.

c. PZC 2025-008 Wayside Cross (1233 Douglas Ave)

i. Public Hearing and Consideration of a Text Amendment for “Club, Lodge or Hall” to the Unified Development Ordinance (Sections 9.02 (Principal Uses and Structures) and 13.02 (Definition of Terms))

ii. Public Hearing and Consideration of a Special Use for Club, Lodge or Hall

iii. Public Hearing and Consideration of a Preliminary/Final Plat of Subdivision iv. Public Hearing and Consideration of multiple variations, including:

1. Variation from Section 7.02 (Subdivision Design and Layout)

2. Variation from Section 11.06 (Buffer Yards)

The public hearings for PZC 2025-008 will be opened and immediately continued to a Special Meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission on May 21, 2025 with no discussion or action to be taken at this meeting due to notification issues.
