State Representative Brad Halbrook (IL) | Representative Brad Halbrook (R) 107th District
State Representative Brad Halbrook from Shelbyville hosted Pastor Derrick Ritchie from Tower Hill at the Capitol, where the pastor delivered the House invocation on April 29th. This invitation was part of a tradition allowing members to bring clergy from their district to offer an opening prayer before legislative sessions.
Pastor Derrick Ritchie serves as the Senior Minister at Tower Hill Christian Church, a position he has held since 2000. He completed his higher education at Ozark Christian College in Missouri and Lincoln Christian Seminary in Illinois. Originally hailing from Oklahoma, he now resides with his wife Karen and their four sons in Tower Hill.
“Pastor Ritchie is a great role model and resource in the community,” stated Rep. Halbrook. “Thank you to Pastor Ritchie for sharing your inspirational words with the House as we begin working on our most intense role as legislators and round out the end of the Spring Session.”
