Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Foundation has received a donation from Washington Savings Bank to aid patients at the SBL Heart Center. The $500 contribution follows a February initiative where paper hearts were sold for $1, allowing supporters to write names in support of those with cardiac conditions. The bank also made a matching donation to bolster this effort.

Washington Savings Bank has been involved in similar charitable activities since 2020 and has contributed over $2,800 to the cause. The proceeds help patients of the Heart Center and those in cardiac rehabilitation who face financial challenges in affording treatment, including providing blood pressure cuffs for those unable to purchase them.

For further information on making donations to SBL, the Health Foundation is available for contact at 217-258-2511.
