Ashton Parrish, a high school freshman from Robinson, participated in a unique opportunity by serving as an "Honorary Page" at the Capitol. Representative Niemerg welcomed Ashton, noting the student's return for a second time in this role.

The young student is engaged in more than just academics; he has started his own lawn mowing business and maintains an active interest in political matters.

"Today I welcomed Ashton Parrish to the Capitol to serve as my Page-for-A-Day for the second time," said Representative Niemerg. This experience highlights Ashton's initiative and diverse interests, balancing business, politics, and school responsibilities.

Overall, Ashton's appointment as an honorary page reflects the significance of civic engagement opportunities for students.
