Blaine Wilhour, a representative for Illinois' 110th State House district, said that school personnel should be terminated and stripped of any pension or government benefits following claims by a local mother that her daughter was forced to change in a locker room with a biological male at Deerfield High School. Wilhour made this statement in a March 14 post on X.
"This Deerfield Illinois mother claims that teachers and administrators in their public school, forced her daughter and others to change in a locker room with a biological male against their will," said Wilhour, State Representative. "If this is true, any school personnel involved in this disgusting reprehensible behavior needs to be an immediately terminated and stripped of any pension or any other government benefits. This nonsense has to stop. Illinois voters need to wake up and start making better decisions."
At a school board meeting on March 11, Nicole Georgas described an incident where her daughter fled the locker room after administrators allegedly attempted to coerce her into changing in front of a biological male. This incident reportedly occurred in February when female students at Deerfield School District 109’s Shepard Middle School reported the presence of a boy in the girls’ locker room while they were changing for gym class. According to the Lake County Gazette, several administrators, including Assistant Principal Cathy Van Treese, Assistant Superintendent for Student Services Joanna Ford, and Director of Student Services Ginger Logemann, reprimanded the girls and tried to force them to change anyway.

Georgas spoke to Fox News about her lawsuit and the school board meeting where she defended her daughter against trans activists who argued that the biological male should be allowed to change in the female locker room. Administrators suggested transferring her daughter to a different PE class as a resolution. However, Georgas refused this suggestion, insisting that her daughter would not change for the rest of the year because she had done nothing wrong. She also said that despite warning the school about filing complaints with both the Department of Justice and the Department of Education, these warnings were ignored.
