Daylight Saving Time begins tonight, requiring clocks to be set forward by one hour. This change aims to take advantage of longer daylight during the evening hours.

A new piece of legislation, HB 1400, has been introduced with the intent to make Daylight Saving Time the standard time throughout the year. The sponsor of this bill is seeking public opinion on whether Daylight Saving Time should be abolished entirely. Residents are encouraged to participate in a survey regarding this proposal.

The shift in time has long been a topic of debate, with discussions about its benefits and drawbacks continuing as the clock adjustment approaches once again.
