A Federal Grand Jury has issued a new subpoena to the Village of Dolton as part of an ongoing investigation into Mayor Tiffany Henyard's activities. The subpoena, which was signed on election day and served last Thursday, seeks records related to Mayor Henyard and other village employees.

The requested documents pertain to several Property Index Numbers associated with 15022 Lincoln Avenue in Dolton, Illinois. Specifically, the subpoena demands information dating back to January 1, 2014. The list includes inspection fee schedules, records of fees paid for inspections, citations issued along with documentation of code violations, and various forms of communication between property owners or tenants and village personnel.

Additionally, the federal inquiry requests documentation concerning complaints against the property in question and records regarding its current and past ownership. Information on permit applications and any negative findings from inspections are also sought.

The subpoena further demands employment records for all code inspectors within the specified timeframe. This particular property has been involved in civil litigation amid allegations of unfair treatment among other issues.

WGN has provided some background on this matter.
