Village of Noble Village Board met Jan. 13.
Here are the minutes provided by the board:
The Village Council met on the above date at 7:00 p.m. The meeting was called to order and present were Brad Kessler, Cindy Manuel, Tresa Hundley, Paul Summers, Gary Ulm, Janet Pflaum, Carol O’Dell and Ashley Pipher. Absent Carl Klingler. Guests Bill Manuel.
Opened with silent prayer and followed by reciting Pledge of Allegiance.
Motion made by Carol O’Dell to approve December 9, 2024, minutes. Seconded by Ashley Pipher. All voting Aye.
The Treasurer and Cash in Bank Reports as of the end of December were presented. Motion made by Ashley Pipher to approve the Treasurer’s Reports as presented. Seconded by Carol O’Dell. All voting Aye.
The Village Hall will be closed on Monday, January 20 for Martin Luther King Day. The Trustees were given the Statements of Economic Interest to complete, sign and return.
Mayor Kessler mentioned it is time to inquire about having the water tower inspected, cleaned and possibly painted. Mayor Kessler will get ahold of a few companies and get quotes.
The Nobe Fire Dept. is interested in obtaining Village property (substation building) at 106 E. North Ave. Mayor Kessler had talked about this matter with the Noble Fire Dept. and village attorney, he will touch base with them again. Trustee Ulm inquired if other buildings/properties owned by individuals (in same area) were going to be acquired and was told one property had but other properties had a different individual interested. Trustee Summers asked about the history of the village property (106 E North Ave.) when the village obtained it. This will be checked into. The matter will be placed on agenda.
Motion made by Carol O’Dell to donate $300.00 to RCHS After-Prom. Seconded by Gary Ulm. All voting Aye.
MFT Compliance Review was presented.
Mayor Kessler mentioned a resident asking for the village to place rock in their driveway between the sidewalk and street. Discussion was held and Mayor Kessler said the individual should rock that area themselves.
Motion made by Janet Pflaum to pay bills. Seconded by Ashley Pipher. All voting Aye.
Motion made by Carol O’Dell to adjourn the meeting at 7:21 p.m. Seconded by Ashley Pipher. All voting Aye.
The meeting adjourned until January 27, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at the Noble Village Hall.
