As the year 2024 comes to an end, the Illinois-based organization ECWd reflects on its accomplishments and looks forward to future endeavors. Over the past year, ECWd published more than 300 articles and maintained a steady readership, with over 1.5 million visitors annually for at least five years. This year saw an increase of 113,000 visitors compared to last year.

The organization attributes its success to the support of its readers and encourages continued donations to aid in their mission. ECWd focuses on holding local government accountable through public records, meetings, research, and media publications.
