Illinois prepares for nearly 300 new laws starting January

Thanks to the Clark County Sheriff's Department, Illinois residents can now access information about 294 new laws set to take effect on January 1, 2025. The department shared this update via their Facebook page, noting the legislative changes resulting from a recent session in Springfield.

"We have provided a link to the 17 pages containing 294 new laws that go into effect on January 1st. Yes you read it correct, 294. We are still going through them all to see how they apply to each of us," the post stated.
