Shelby County Board Vice-Chairman Teresa Boehm's criminal felony case hearing has been rescheduled for December 23, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. This update follows an Amended Motion to Dismiss and a motion to extend time to file a response submitted by the prosecutor, as noted in the Shelby County Court Docket on Judici.

Boehm was indicted on January 25, 2024, by a Shelby County Grand Jury. She faces two felony charges: Violation of the Public Officer Prohibited Activities Act and Unlawful Participation. These charges are related to holding offices that conflict statutorily. Two motions to dismiss have been filed by Boehm’s attorney but have not yet been addressed in court.
