Thornton Township nominates Napoleon Harris slate; Henyard faces backlash

During the Thornton Township Democrat Caucus, the Democrats nominated a slate led by Napoleon Harris for township offices in the upcoming spring 2025 election. Harris is set to run for Supervisor.

The current appointed Supervisor, Tiffany Henyard, faced vocal opposition from residents during the event. As she attempted to speak, attendees shouted her down and sang "na, na, nana, na, na, nana, hey hey hey, goodbye."

Henyard’s time as Supervisor may be nearing its end in Thornton Township.
