26.6% of Neoga Community Unit School District 3 students met or exceeded ELA IAR expectations on tests in 2022-23 school year

In the 2022-23 school year, 26.6% of the students in Neoga Community Unit School District 3 passed the ELA portion of the Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR), according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Of the 203 students in Neoga Community Unit School District 3 who took the ELA portion of the test, approximately 54 (26.6%) passed.

The percentage of Neoga Community Unit School District 3 students who met or exceeded expectations on the IAR increased by 13.8% compared to the previous school year.

According to the 2024 Illinois Report Card, math proficiency among Illinois students in grades 3-8 remains below pre-pandemic levels, while reading performance has recovered. Meanwhile, 11th graders have experienced significant declines in both subjects, falling below pre-pandemic benchmarks.
