State Representative Adam Niemerg (IL) | Representative Adam M. Niemerg (R) 102nd District
State Representative Adam Niemerg, who serves Illinois' 102nd District, recently welcomed Shaya Strader, a ninth-grade student from Toledo, Illinois, to the State Capitol in Springfield. Shaya, who is homeschooled and enjoys art and music as her favorite subjects, participated in the 'Page-for-a-Day' program.
"The Page-for-a-Day Program is an opportunity for young people to experience the legislative process up front and learn more about the Illinois House of Representatives," stated Rep. Niemerg. He also encouraged those interested in participating to reach out to his district office at 217-813-6036.
During her visit, Rep. Niemerg provided Shaya with an explanation of the voting equipment used in the Illinois House of Representatives.
