The Hospice Team of HSHS Home Care is inviting community members to participate in a Candlelight Memorial on Monday, November 25, at 5:30 p.m. The event will take place at the HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital Chapel located at 503 North Maple Street in Effingham. Attendees can access the chapel through the entrance near the Healing Garden.

The service aims to provide an opportunity for individuals to honor and remember loved ones who have passed away during the holiday season. Participants are encouraged to bring photographs of their loved ones to place on a memorial board during the ceremony.

Additional Candlelight Memorials organized by HSHS Home Care will be held in other locations and are also open to the public. These include events on Monday, December 9, at 5:30 p.m. at HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital Chapel in O’Fallon and Thursday, December 12, at 5:30 p.m. at HSHS St. John’s Hospital Chapel in Springfield.

For further details or bereavement support, individuals can contact HSHS Home Care by calling 217-685-0702.
