Illinois House begins fall legislative veto session focusing on unfinished business

The Illinois House of Representatives is set to commence its fall legislative veto session today, November 12. This marks the beginning of a two-week session, with the second week scheduled to start on November 19.

House Republicans are pushing for progress on several unresolved issues from the spring session. These include ethics reform, public safety measures, and challenges related to public transit.

Residents of Illinois have the opportunity to follow the proceedings live at ilga.gov when the session resumes at 3:00 p.m. today.
