Effingham celebrates new street dedications with ribbon-cutting ceremony

A ribbon-cutting ceremony took place at John Boos & Co. on South Banker Street in Effingham to mark the dedication of Schutzbach Street, as well as Thies Avenue and Airport Road. The event was held on Wednesday morning.

The completion of these projects was achieved with over $1.4 million in grant funds from the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) and an additional $770,000 sourced through the State of Illinois.
