The Dolton Trustees have filed a motion for Rule 137 sanctions against Mayor Tiffany Henyard and her attorney. The motion alleges violations of Supreme Court Rule 137 in connection with a lawsuit initiated by Henyard and trustees Stanley Brown and Andrew Holmes.

Trustee Stanley Brown has expressed his disapproval of being named as a plaintiff in the lawsuit. In an email to the defendant's legal counsel, Brown stated, "I do not wish to be, nor did I ever consent to being, a plaintiff in the lawsuit filed by Tiffany Henyard against the Dolton Trustees." He requested that his name be removed from the lawsuit.

The defendants are asking the court to dismiss the complaint and require Attorney McStephen O. A. Solomon and Plaintiff Tiffany Henyard to cover reasonable attorney fees related to this motion. They also seek any other relief deemed appropriate by the court.

Attorney McStephen O. A. Solomon recently had his law license suspended on September 9, 2024, due to misappropriation of client funds. He is currently on probation with no specified end date for his license status, according to information from the ARDC database.
