Gunfire erupted outside a public housing complex in Kansas, Illinois, following a dispute among family members and their friends. The altercation escalated into a gunfight on Saturday afternoon.

Multiple law enforcement departments responded to the scene to provide assistance. The incident resulted in one individual being hospitalized with gunshot wounds, while another person died from what appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound after being airlifted to an emergency room.
