State Representative Adam Niemerg (R-Dieterich) has announced the appointment of Hyleri Bowlin of Effingham as his new Legislative Director and office manager for the Teutopolis state office. Bowlin previously worked as an office manager at a local medical practice, where she gained experience working with patients and the community.

“I am pleased to welcome Hyleri to my team to work with constituents dealing with state programs and concerns,” said Rep. Niemerg. “She brings a fresh perspective to the office and as a mother she understands my priority to fight for children and families, for good schools that respect parental rights, and my work to defend the sanctity of Life.”

In addition to managing constituent cases and organizing Niemerg's Satellite Office Hours program, Bowlin will represent him in civic and community groups when he is unavailable due to legislative sessions in Springfield.

Bowlin is a graduate of Effingham High School, where she was active in 4-H for nine years. She played piano, French Horn in the concert band, and Mellophone in the marching band. She attended Lake Land Community College and volunteers with the local 4-H organization, focusing on the Effingham County 4-H Llama Leaders.
