Criminal charges against Christopher Boehm dismissed by special prosecutor

According to the docket on Judici, in Shelby County Court this morning, Special Prosecutor Jones "Nolle Pro'd" the criminal misdemeanor charge against Christopher Boehm.

Previously, Chris Boehm's pre-trial was set for August 21, 2024, at 10:00 AM in Shelby County Courthouse, Courtroom A. Boehm had been charged with Obstruction of Service of Process. The charge alleged that "the said defendant knowingly resisted or obstructed the authorized service of a subpoena for appearance before the Grand Jury of Shelby County, Illinois," by hiding inside his house and not answering the door for Special Investigator Michael Holmes despite knowing that Holmes was attempting an authorized and lawful service of process.
