Effingham County Regional Airport breaks ground for expansion

The Effingham County Regional Airport held a groundbreaking ceremony on Wednesday to celebrate its expansion. This project has been in the works for years but recently received the necessary funding to move forward.

Greg Koester, Airport Superintendent; Tony Siemer, Airport Commission Chairman; and Effingham County Board Chairman Josh Douthit were present at the event.
