State Representative Chris Miller (R-Hindsboro) has achieved a 100% voting record from the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) and the Illinois Chamber of Commerce. This rating underscores Rep. Miller’s dedication to supporting local businesses in Illinois and fostering economic growth.

“I will always advocate for pro-business policies in Illinois and continue to back legislation that benefits small businesses,” said Rep. Miller. “I understand businesses thrive in a free market, and they need support from legislators that don’t hinder their ability to create economic growth.”

The NFIB assesses legislators' voting records based on their support for small businesses in Illinois. The purpose of this analysis is to inform citizens and businesses about how state representatives vote, aiming to create better public policies in Springfield.

The Illinois Chamber of Commerce promotes an innovative climate focused on business creation and growth throughout Illinois communities. Each chamber engages with its respective community to generate good-paying jobs, opportunities, and lasting business growth.

Rep. Miller added, “When I vote on a bill, I think about how it would affect families and their livelihood. It’s important to me that I support legislation that will create job security and improve the quality of life for families and businesses in Illinois with sound public policies.”

During the Spring session in 2024, Representative Miller worked to reduce tax burdens, lessen business mandates that stifle growth, and improve workforce development.
