Marshall Community Unit School District C-2 Board of Education met July 24.

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

Special BOARD OF EDUCATION, Wednesday, July 24, 2024, 6:00 p.m., MJHS Library

The Board of Education met in special session on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, with the following members present: Mr. Crews, Mr. Lycan, Mr. Macke, and Mr. Maurer were present. Administrator Ritchey was also present.

Mr. Macke called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.

During the public comment, no comments were offered.

The board did not enter closed session.

Mr. Lycan offered a motion, seconded by Mr. Maurer, to accept the resignation of educational support personnel, Ally Crews, as Para-Professional. On a voice vote, all members present voted AYE.

Mr. Crews offered a motion, seconded by Mr. Lycan, to accept the resignation of professional educator licensed personnel, Jared Boyll, as Elementary Teacher. On a voice vote, all members present voted AYE.

Mr. Maurer offered a motion, seconded by Mr. Crews, to approve the employment of professional educator licensed personnel, Gabrielle Weldy, as Elementary Teacher for the 2024-25 school year. On a voice vote, all members present voted AYE.

Mr. Lycan offered a motion, seconded by Mr. Maurer, to approve the employment of professional educator licensed personnel, Jace Link, as High School Social Science Teacher for the 2024-25 school year. On a voice vote, all members present voted AYE.

Mr. Crews offered a motion, seconded by Mr. Maurer, to adjourn. All present voted aye. The Board adjourned at 6:20 p.m.
