Grain Belt Express plans may go to the Illinois Supreme Court

An appeals court has reversed state regulators' approval of a permit for the Illinois portion of an 800-mile, high-voltage transmission line, setting up a possible fight at the state's Supreme Court. The so-called Grain Belt Express is proposed to run through nine counties in Illinois, including part of the 107th District.
