Illinois is celebrating National Dairy Month this June, highlighting the importance of dairy products and the contributions of the dairy industry. The month-long observance recognizes the efforts of dairy farmers nationwide who provide Americans with nutritious, vitamin-rich dairy.

"Thank you to dairy farmers across the country for your continued work to provide Americans with nutritious, vitamin-rich dairy," said a representative from the Illinois Department of Agriculture.

The celebration aims to promote awareness about the benefits of consuming dairy products and support for local farmers who play a crucial role in maintaining a steady supply of these essential foods.
