There were 84 multiracial students enrolled in Effingham County school districts in the 2021-22 school year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

Data showed that multiracial students made up 1.7% of the 4,943 students in Effingham County during the 2021-22 school year. They were the third most represented ethnicity.

Among the five districts in Effingham County, Effingham Community Unit School District 40 recorded the highest enrollment of multiracial students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of 52 students.

The main offices of all districts mentioned in the story are located in cities associated with Effingham County.
