There were 19 Hispanic students enrolled in Shelby County school districts in the 2021-22 school year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

Data showed that Hispanic students made up 0.6% of the 2,944 students in Shelby County during the 2021-22 school year. They were the second least represented ethnicity.

Among the five districts in Shelby County, Shelbyville Community Unit School District 4 recorded the highest enrollment of Hispanic students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of 19 students.
