On May 31, 2024, criticism emerged regarding the state budget and its implications for taxpayers. A statement highlighted concerns over increased taxes under Governor Pritzker's administration. The statement accused Pritzker and his Democratic allies of imposing excessive financial burdens on taxpayers.

"The state budget equals more taxes, more taxes, and more taxes," the statement read. It further claimed that "Pritzker and his Democrat puppets have squeezed taxpayers out of more money." According to the critique, the only beneficiaries in Illinois are those who refuse to work or reside in the state illegally.

The middle-class workers were described as being particularly targeted by these tax policies. "The middle-class workers have been the target for Pritzker so he can strip their hard-earned money and give it to others: it’s called socialism," stated the critic.

The statement concluded with a firm stance against supporting any tax increases or socialist policies: "I will never vote to increase taxes on my constituents or support socialism."
