As the session deadline approaches, Republicans have yet to receive the proposed $53 billion state budget from Governor Pritzker. This week has been marked by extensive debates and committee meetings in the House, often extending late into the evening. A full weekend of work is anticipated to ensure the budget's passage.

Representative Miller conveyed a strong message for Governor Pritzker: "Democrats are good actors and they love to stall the process of passing a very important budget for the State of Illinois."
