Rep. Mary Miller has called on Governor J.B. Pritzker to cease supporting illegal immigration and close Illinois' borders to individuals who violate federal laws.
"The reality of illegal immigration," according to Rep. Miller, is that it leads to increased crime and the exploitation of taxpayers. She criticized Governor Pritzker for avoiding discussions on the issue and accused him of dishonesty when addressing related questions and concerns.
"This ongoing designed crisis is causing havoc across cities, specifically Chicago," she stated. Miller, along with her Republican colleagues, is advocating for the immediate repeal of the Illinois TRUST Act.
