Bill aiding addiction recovery passes House unanimously

Today, Senate Bill 3405 was called for a third reading in the House and passed unanimously with a vote of 106-0. This legislation has now cleared both legislative chambers. Representative Miller expressed satisfaction with the support behind the bill aimed at assisting individuals struggling with addictions.

Representative Miller is the Chief House Sponsor of SB3405. The bill permits counties to allocate funds, designated by law or ordinance for transportation purposes, to provide rides for individuals attending problem-solving courts. This measure aims to help those battling substance abuse access necessary counseling and classes.
