The Illinois Conservation Foundation is seeking nominations for its prestigious Illinois Outdoor Hall of Fame. The foundation has been recognizing exceptional outdoor enthusiasts from the state since 2002, honoring those who have made significant contributions to preserving, promoting, enhancing or supporting natural resources and outdoor recreation opportunities.

Previous inductees have demonstrated exemplary service to conservation in Illinois. House Minority Leader Tony McCombie is encouraging residents to consider nominating deserving individuals. "Past inductees have records of exemplary service to conservation in Illinois," McCombie said.

The deadline for nomination submissions is July 15. More information about the nomination process can be found on the foundation's website at https://ilconservation.org/Who-We-Are/Outdoor-Hall-of-Fame.
