How many lawyers were granted admission to practice law in cities in Effingham County in January?

There were 27 lawyers in good standing in cities located within Effingham County as of January, according to the ARDC of the Supreme Court of Illinois.

The number of lawyers in good standing remained the same when compared to the previous month.

Data shows that Effingham was home to all the 27 active lawyers in Effingham County during January.

The average salary for an attorney in Illinois is approximately $107,894 as of December, 2023. However, the salary range for this position typically falls between $91,979 and $124,804.

Out of the total of nearly 96,000 lawyers registered in the state, more than 83,000 hold an active status. However, roughly one third of these lawyers are spread out and working in states other than Illinois.
