Effingham County taxpayers paid $185,681 in Special County Retailers Occupation Tax in December 2023, according to Illinois tax records.

This figure marks a significant increase from the previous month, where Special County Retailers Occupation Tax collection stood at $176,484.

Over the past 12 months, Effingham County's residents have collectively paid a total of $2.1 million in Special County Retailers Occupation Tax.
