Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul has agreed to a permanent injunction on a law that aimed to stifle the free speech of pregnancy centers. The law would have fined pregnancy centers for informing women about the risks related to abortion. Federal Judge Johnston, who placed the original injunction, called the law "stupid and very likely unconstitutional." This victory is a strong rebuke to the radical Illinois Democrats who pushed for the law.

SMRs offer a cost-effective alternative to traditional nuclear power plants and come with enhanced safety features. The lifting of the ban paves the way for the development of SMRs within the state.
