Effingham County Schools: Effingham High School welcomed the most students in 2021-22 school year

Effingham High School had the highest enrollment among Effingham County schools, welcoming 735 students during the 2021-22 school year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

Out of all the students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 51.2% of them were boys, and 48.8% were girls.

Data also showed that most of the students were white, representing 87.9% of the student body at Effingham High School.

Among the 14 schools in Effingham County, Teutopolis Grade School ranked second in enrollment with 575 students, while Effingham Junior High School welcomed 537 students to be ranked third in the 2021-22 school year.

Effingham High School is a part of Effingham Community Unit School District 40, which generally encompasses schools within Effingham County with its main office in Effingham.

In the previous school year, Effingham High School had the highest number of students among Effingham County schools.
