Regarding the influx of illegal migrants in Illinois, Rep. Miller criticized Governor Pritzker's decision to divert funds from taxpayer-funded rental assistance programs for Illinois citizens to help non-citizen migrants. He highlighted the hypocrisy of the governor, who claims to be a 'welcoming state' while spending hundreds of millions of Illinois taxpayer dollars on illegal immigrants. Rep. Miller emphasized the negative impact of Democrat policies on American citizens, stating that Illinois cannot afford to pay for thousands of illegal immigrants.
Rep. Miller also addressed the controversial deal between Governor Pritzker and Chinese company Gotion. He criticized the governor for pledging $536 million of Illinois taxpayers' money to attract the Chinese company, calling it reckless and ignorant. He questioned the governor's priorities and raised concerns about the implications of the deal.
In addition to these issues, Rep. Miller highlighted the corruption within the Democratic Party in Illinois. He mentioned the trials of former House Speaker Michael Madigan and his Chief of Staff Timothy Mapes, where another scandal involving Democrat communications firm SKDK was uncovered. Rep. Miller called for ethics reform to end the cycle of corruption and enriching themselves.
