A. Budget on display August 18 – September 18, 2023

B. Our SRO is official. Ryan Washburn will fill that role for us on a full-time basis. Thank you, Edgar County Sheriff’s office and board, and to our School Board.

C. Last year we paid $8,300 on the Relay devices. They gave us security and knowledge of where our buses were. Now we have an SRO and better monitoring on our buses. The invoice for this year with discounts is $10,890. My recommendation is that we do not renew.

D. Several fence options: chain link fence $ 25, 950; Should get other quotes on Friday for a more decorative fence. I will update the board when they come in.

F. Fall Tutoring

1. Starts Sept. 11th

2. Grant has paid in excess of $130,000 to our tutors up to this point

3. Provided more than 125 hours of professional development

G. ICU/MTSS supports update

H. Pick date for Superintendent Evaluation training

I. Tri-County Superintendent meeting (update)

J. ⅔ of our teaching staff took advantage of the 8 hours of paid planning. A LOT of very positive feedback.

K. Gearing up for Podcasts again this year.

L. Discuss how to best utilize the ISBE Matching grant for this school year for projects up to $100,000. We used last year’s grant on the playground equipment and installation.

M. Air conditioner in unit office.

A. Request to approve fence option

A.
